Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu part of the Fletcher Jones fine family of dealerships is looking for hard working, energetic, and guest service oriented Lot Attendants/Valet.  


The Lot Attendant is responsible for moving and parking vehicle in an organized manner to maximize parking space, cleaning vehicles and maintain them in sound working condition. He/she will interact with guests and graciously provide a solution that exceeds their expectation.   He/she will perform other duties when Operations is understaffed. 


  • drive company vehicles in a safe and timely manner from one location to another
  • maintain good traffic flow in the service drive
  • greet each guest in a prompt, courteous manner 100% of the time and determine the nature of their visit and graciously provide the service
  • keep lot neat and orderly by moving cars in a timely manner, parking cars in the proper area within allotted space and keeping area clean in accordance with dealership display standards
  • run errands to pick up and/or deliver items as requested
  • direct guests to the correct department or parking area
  • lock up all service vehicles and customer vehicles and keep keys in the designated locked box and in an organized manner
  • assist with tasks such as installing license plate frame and checking tire pressure
  • assist with taking of loaner inventory and customer vehicle check
  • perform duties in other areas of Operations when understaffed such as cleaning and washing cars

Job Requirements


Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • valid state driver's license and a good driving record
  • meet physical demands of the position



  • Demonstrate ability to drive company vehicle in a safe manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge of operating a personal computer and its applications

Language Skills:

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Demonstrate ability to read and understand appointment log and/or pick up/drop off schedule

Reasoning Ability:

  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative to get tasks completed or meeting guest satisfaction
