Job Description


Shares in the sales activities of the dealership through the promotion and selling a full range of new and used car products.


Achieve unit sales targets for new and used cars by adhering to the sales process without deviation.

Follow up on all sales leads and promptly and accurately record all client communication in CRM system.

Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers.

Prepare sold vehicle for customer delivery prior to customer arrival. At delivery, ensure the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and paperwork.

Follow up on all post-delivery items, license and title work, “we owes”, and special requests to be sure all customer expectations are met.

Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.

Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technical changes in product

Process paperwork in accordance with dealership and manufacturer policies.

Explain fully product performance, application and benefits to prospects. Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.

Follow up with unsold prospects, utilizing appropriate methods of communication (follow-up calls, email, letters or factory brochures highlighting features of interest).


Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a related industry preferred
