Job Description

Promotes and sells AUDI products: new, accessories, service, and AUDI-sponsored events.

Achieves center’s new vehicle gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction objectives.

Builds and maintains long-term, one-to-one relationships with AUDI clients, serving as the first point of contact between the client and the AUDI center.

Anticipates clients’ long-term vehicle and service needs throughout the client’s relationship with the center.

Promotes AUDI standards for superior client, employee, and AUDI center management.

Primary Responsibilities

Achieve unit sales targets for new and related products and services from retail clients.

Achieve target levels of gross profit per unit for new and used cars and related products and services.

Submit to management periodic activity and result reports, such as daily call reports, weekly progress reports, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the vehicles, accessories, and services of the AUDI center.

Assume full responsibility for the entire sales process, including:

  • Getting to know the client via an in-depth interview.
  • Accommodating the client’s product preference via a presentation and demonstration.
  • Finding the right AUDI for the client via product supply resources.
  • Determining the best trade-in value via a fair and equitable process.
  • Satisfying the client’s purchasing needs via seamless sales procedures.
  • Preparing the client for ownership via a smooth and thorough delivery that accommodates all of the client’s expectations.
  • Establishing a sustained consultative relationship with each client

Introduce new visitors to the Virtual Sales Center and suggest appropriate menu items for their use.

Close sales effectively, being profit-minded, and understanding new car financing and insurance.

Handle all client questions, complaints or problems, ensuring they are resolved beyond the client’s expectations. Locate the appropriate help immediately if an urgent situation arises.

Provide information to fellow AUDI center members regarding client needs and expectations to help ensure the entire team is prepared to provide the highest level of service to the client with respect to every need.

Follow up with undecided clients and prospects, utilizing various methods of communication, from follow-up phone calls to letters or customized brochures highlighting features of interest.

Provide historical records by using and keeping accurate CRM records, forms, files, etc. on area and client leads, visits, interactions and sales, using Momentum.

Develop new business and leads and increase client base through focused personal marketing efforts that may include, but are not limited to, direct mail, networking affiliations and telemarketing. Follow up on all leads generated by AUDI, the center’s web site, walk-ins, off-lease reports, prospect reports, referrals, orphan owners and aftersales.

Customize all sales presentations, on-site or off-site at client’s convenience, using multimedia technology when appropriate. Prepare customized proposals during the sales process as a take-away for clients who are either placing orders or are undecided.

Make effective deliveries by following all sale details, inspecting every car sold, introducing clients to the Service Manager, and making a personalized delivery of the car.

Review AUDI Owner Loyalty Reports regularly to identify clients whose leases will expire in the near future, and complete all required communications with them up to lease expiration.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pricing and specifications of competitive vehicles to provide clients with informative comparisons. Understand AUDI Financial Services programs as well as competitive finance sourcing options to provide clients with the best buying or leasing choices.

Periodically visit the web sites of competitor vehicles. Develop comparisons and contrasts between them and AUDI models for use in client discussions.

Demonstrate a detailed understanding of AUDI new vehicle supply status from production to delivery.

Continually update and improve technological skills required for use with the retail information systems.

Upgrade knowledge of AUDI products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by training on-the-job, attending trade shows and educational programs, establishing personal network, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional societies.

Assist in pricing by monitoring costs and supply and demand, and by gathering competitor information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Assist in creating and implementing effective marketing strategies, advertising, and promotions to increase sales and profits by evaluating results and competitive developments.

 

Job Requirements

Skills – Experience

Proven track record as an Internet manger 2-4 years’ experience

Prior experience with highline automotive sales

Experience in managing and organizing work time and activities

Education
