Job Description


Assists in the daily operation of the Warranty and Service Booking departments.


Assists Warranty Administrator with the following duties:

  • Process warranty claims.
  • Verify criteria required by factory.
  • Maintain service related correspondence and files.
  • Assist accounting with coding of invoices for service department, payroll and other requests. Assists Service Booker with the following duties:
  • Book technician time based on manufacturer or nationally recognized published time guides.
  • Communicate with service consultants and parts counter persons regarding any incorrectly billed repair orders and assist in correcting them.
  • Issue purchase orders.
  • Assist in generating and distributing technician time flag and payroll reports.

Maintain a high degree of accuracy and courtesy.

Perform all duties within the required time limits.

Adhere strictly to all company rules, policies and procedures.

Maintain strict confidentiality of confidential personal information of our customers in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule, implementing the provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act as they pertain to automobile dealerships.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Some knowledge of automotive parts.  Will be trained on dealership computer systems.  Ability to use computer, 10-key, and other office machines.  Ability to work well with customers.
