Fletcher Jones Motorcars Cars of Fremont is looking for a hard-working, energetic, and guest service oriented Human Resources Admin to work a flexible schedule with benefits provided.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Performs  HR administrative and various clerical duties under the supervision of the Controller and Business manager.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On-board all new hies by ensuring that all employees complete and understand new hire paperwork, practices and policies before they begin.
  • Completes Form I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Maintain and monitor all personnel files to be complete and up to company standards.
  • Ensure managers daily management of employee schedules, with a strong focus on meal break compliance, auditing hours and discrepancies, and confirming employee authorization of punch adjustments.
  • Assist manager and supervisors with coaching and corrective action procedures.
  • Manage recruiting for all departments
  • Submit personal information of new-hire for background check, insurability check, and drug testing.
  • Perform data entry of new-hires in HR/Payroll and Time & Attendance database
  • Administer workers compensation plan including reporting work injuries, monitoring claims, and handling annual audits.

Job Requirements

   The ideal candidate will have/be: 

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years Human Resources experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to consistently follow through with projects and assignments and meet deadlines.
