Job Description


The BDC Photographer focuses on the dealer inventory photos and videos to showcase all vehicles and related videos online. The BDC Photographer is also responsible for administering the dealer online inventory presence for consistent marketing and communication content with the highest level of professionalism and proficiency. The BDC Photographer must be a dependable, detail oriented, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude while maintaining confidentiality.



  • Developing a thorough understanding of and demonstrating adherence to the Manufacture Compliance and Advertising regulations in addition to the BDC and Dealer policies and procedures
  • Developing proficiency with all features of the dealer and BDC CRM/DMS software
  • Developing proficiency with all features of the dealer website, website tool and Inventory tools
  • Administering the Website, Dealer CRM and Inventory Tool to assure efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensuring that all information inputted into the databases is consistent and accurate
  • Taking photographs of each and every pre-owned vehicle with the highest level consistency and quality
  • Formulating a systematic approach to the presence of each photo taken for our online presence in relation to all marketing efforts
  • Coordinating, shooting, editing and administering videos for our on-line presence
  • Develop and maintain a photo library of each new car model and dealer photos for our online presence
  • Administering and reporting of all inventory pages to remain consistent with dealer and manufacturer advertising and promotions compliance
  • Research and development of new ideas for inventory and online presence
  • Consistent monitoring of the websites for accuracy and relevancy of our inventory with direct communication with the Website Administrator
  • Consistent Monitoring, updating and reporting of all Dealer Inventory, videos and photos
  • Ability to prioritize all necessary duties while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and composure
  • Consistently maintaining daily, weekly and monthly duties which correspond with the objectives of the dealer marketing and lease portfolio
  • Thorough understanding of all coupons, direct mail pieces and other offers for dealer
  • Sufficient follow-up on all requests, ensuring that all duties are met in a timely manner
  • Demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with dealer personnel and management at all levels
  • Maintaining a professional code of conduct and a positive attitude at all times

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or  1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Will be trained on computer systems.  Ability to work well with customers.



Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.  Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and request to management and sales personnel.



Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
